Auditions Announcement! - The Importance by Sara Jean Accuardi

After being developed, scheduled, auditioned, and cast in the 2019-2020 school year, The Importance was shut down with the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic. Playwrights West is thrilled to resume this project with Franklin High School Theater to premiere this thrilling play in March of 2023.

There is an audition packet that has everything you need to know about auditions. It is lengthy and detailed - and it is imperative that you read it carefully. To access and download the audition packet, click HERE.

The only thing you need to do to prepare for auditions is to thoroughly read the play. I suggest reading it multiple times and getting very familiar with all the characters. To access and download the script, click HERE.
